On Friday, December 14, Patrick Vaillancourt and Martin Alary received the Summit Award for having ranked among the top 10 per cent of Ford sales consultants in Canada.

They each received a plaque and a statuette, congratulating them on their efforts.

For 17 years, Vaillancourt has been working at Lecours Motors in Hearst as a manager.

Asked what he thought about the honour, he said he was honoured.

“It’s heartwarming to not only be recognized by our business partners, but also by our customers,” he commented. “It’s a nice way to be thanked for everything that we’ve done during the year.”

Both sales stats and customer service are criteria considered to qualify for the award.

Every time a customer makes a purchase, they receive a survey to complete. The completed surveys over the past year demonstrate that Lecours Motors in Hearst has maintained an above-average customer service among Ford dealers.

Both men said although the Summit Award is handed out individually, it takes a team to ensure customer satisfaction. They explained they work with different departments to make sure that all customers are satisfied with their purchases.

“No detail is too big or too small for us to pay attention to when it comes to ensuring our clients are satisfied,” said Alary.

Patrick and Martin thanked their co-workers because without them, they wouldn’t have had the opportunity to receive the prestigious award.
