KAPUSKASING – January 10, 2019 was a good night for two lucky people as the Kapuskasing Rod and Gun Club held its draws for an ice fishing hut and an electric auger.
Maxime Hébert was the big winner, with his name being drawn for the ice fishing hut, while the winner of the electric ice auger was Maurice Génier of Kapuskasing.
The club wishes to thank all volunteers and businesses that supported us in our only fundraiser of the year.
Profits were shared with the Kapuskasing 1635 Army Cadets, the Kapuskasing Jags Peewee girls hockey team and students working towards their school trips.
Special thanks go out to Walmart, Canadian Tire and Tapisrido Carpet One for use of their parking lots which was a great boost to our success.
