KAPUSKASING – The North Centennial Manor Family Council is continuing its efforts to raise funds for its gazebo and walking path project, by offering a “buy a brick” program.
“We’ve got the money for the gazebo, but we need more in order to create the brick walking path, so the residents can go enjoy the outdoors,” said Council representative Jean Blythe.
The bricks are $10 each. Charitable donation receipts will be provided and those purchasing bricks will have their name appear on North Centennial Manor’s “Wall of Fame”.
“We’re going to do something nice at the end, so people can see the names of everyone that has donated to this beautiful walkway,” said Blythe.
Those wishing to purchase bricks to support the project can visit or contact the manor or contribute via e-transfer to: jeancamps@gmail.com.
“We’re asking that people, who contribute via e-transfer notify me ahead of time so we can get their address,” said Blythe. “That way, we’ll know where to send the “thank you” card and the receipt.”
